  • Esquimalt Rib Fest

    Esquimalt Ribfest is brought to you by the Esquimalt Firefighters Charitable Foundation and is the primary source of income. A big thank you to the Ribfest committee and volunteers who make this event the success it is. Please visit the Ribfest facebook page for up to date information.

  • The Greater Victoria Fire Fighters Calendar

    Proceeds from the Greater Victoria Fire Fighters Calendar support the tiny patients of Victoria General Hospital. The calendar is a joint fundraising initiative from Professional Fire Fighters of Greater Victoria Community Foundation: Oak Bay, Esquimalt, Victoria and Saanich. They’ve pledged $250,000 over the next 10 years to support the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, or NICU, through Victoria Hospitals Foundation.

  • Muscular Dystrophy Boot Drive

    Since 1954 Fire Fighters from across North America have supported the Muscular Dystrophy Association, a commitment that will continue until a cure is found. MDA provides support for families living with Muscular Dystrophy by way of financial support for mobility and breathing equipment, home alterations, transportation.   • BC Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund

    Almost four decades ago Fire Fighters visiting patients in the Burn Unit saw a critical need and started contributing money for Burn Unit medical equipment and to help patients on their journey to recovery. Inspired by such spontaneous generosity, Captain Alex Blake from the Coquitlam Fire Department proposed a province-wide initiative……And the BC Professional Fire Fighters’ Burn Fund was formed.

Mustard Seed Foundation
The Mustard Seed has been essential in fighting hunger and restoring faith to a large portion of people living in poverty, as well as the working poor, in greater Victoria since 1975; on average helping 5000 people a month.– Learn More

Esquimalt Neighborhood House Society
Esquimalt Neighborhood House is committed to promoting health, education, and social change within the community by working in partnerships, encouraging participation and offering respectful services. Esquimalt Curling Club
The Esquimalt Curling Club has provided opportunity for our youth to develop their balance and coordination, self confidence, and focus while being active in a social environment. Their programs help kids access one of Canada's most popular sports. – Learn More

The Rainbow Kitchen
The Rainbow Kitchen provides a nutritious, tasty hot lunch meal to 125-140 people a day. That's over 36,000 meals a year are served in a safe and supportive environment to the poor and marginalized in our community. – Learn More

Lions Baseball
Lions Baseball has been dedicated to organizing youth teams and park operations since 1955. Esquimalt High School Rugby Academy
Esquimalt Fire Fighters  support the development of athletes both physically and mentally to create active and well-rounded citizens. The EHRA is a quality program that offers positive team experiences and enhanced self-esteem. – Learn More

Esquimalt High School Basketball Tournament
The Esquimalt "Fire" Basketball tournament grows bigger and better every year. Now with 16 teams competing from Vancouver Island and the Lower Mainland. This tournament gives athletes an opportunity to showcase their skills and teamwork as they compete in front of fans. – Learn More

Esquimalt High School Athletic and Academic Bursaries
Esquimalt Fire Fighters recognize the value of education and created two bursaries to help selected students continue their education in a post secondary institution. – Learn More

CFAX Santas Anonymous Society
CFAX Santas Anonymous Society is one of Greater Victoria’s longest running children’s charities, working diligently to serve families with children in need. Esquimalt Fire Fighters not only make a monetary contribution to this amazing cause, but have also donated hundreds of hours of manual labour. – Learn More

MaCaulay Elementary School Swim Program
The region is full of pools, lakes, and beautiful coast line. Esquimalt Fire Fighters want to make sure every student has an opportunity to enjoy the water safely so the grade three students at McCaulay Elementary are enrolled in swim lessons. – Learn More
